It is our pleasure to announce that the European Fund for the Balkans launched a new series of TV debates called “Balkan u Evropi” (“Balkans in Europe”) in cooperation with regional television station TV N1. Tonight at 21:30, TV N1 will broadcast the second episode, “The Freedom and the Integrity of the Media in the Balkans”. The second episode will also be shown on Saturday, April 18 at 20:00 on TV N1. The discussion will be moderated by Borjan Jovanovski, journalist TV Nova, Skopje, Macedonia.
Tonight's debate is based on the results of the research in the EFB issue paper written by Toby Vogel. The report focuses on the Balkan countries where media freedoms are most endangered. Participants in tonight's TV debate will be:
