New BBB team is successfully continuing with the Balkans Beyond Borders Project. After the meeting held in Brussels in April 2010, the new team was established composed from participants of 3 LDP Generations. After many consultations and virtual meetings the team drafted a chart and the official NGO was established in Greece.
Balkans Beyond Borders (BBB) become a non-profit organization based in Athens. Its purpose is to promote intercultural dialogue and innovative means of learning through film-making. BBB aims to support young artists of the Balkans and promote their work.
An annual short-film festival having a different theme each year is intended to take place in different Balkan cities.
The Film Festival should be reinforced by a number of supporting activities throughout the year including exhibitions, workshops, cultural events and collaborations with local or international Film Festivals.
In order to establish the new identity as new organization the BBB team created a new logo as recognizible.
The first meeting of the BBB Team after the organization was officially registered was held in KEA in August 2010. The team defined the concept of the next film competition „Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Crises” scheduled for March 2011.
