The Civil Society Forum Tirana will take place from April 26-28. The event is part of the Civil Society Forum Series, focused on establishing a sustainable and relevant second-track platform in the Berlin Process, and creating an impetus for debate among decision makers and wider Europe. More than 100 participants, including representatives of think tanks, policy institutes and other NGOs from the countries of the Western Balkans, as well as high-ranking EU officials and MEPs, diplomats, members of regional and international organisations and foundations, and local and regional media will contribute to the discussions. The main topics of debates include: Youth cooperation in the Western Balkans, Rule of law and anti-corruption, Business environment and innovation potential in WB6 – role of SMEs and Bilateral issues. The Tirana Forum’s conclusions and recommendations will be presented in the Trieste Summit of the Heads of State and Governments, on July 12th. The Civil Society Forum Tirana is a joint initiative of the European Fund for the Balkans, ERSTE Foundation and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
