Second in the series of three public discussions “The Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina” took place in Sarajevo on May 10, co-organized by the European Fund for the Balkans and “Vreme” weekly. The key speakers at the event were professors Nermina Mujagić (Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo), Enver Kazaz (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo) and Dejan Jović (Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb), as well as Teofil Pančić and Dejan Anastasijević, prominent journalists and columnists from Serbia. The debate touched upon the issues of rule of law, ethnic perspectives, segregation and discrimination in educational system, lack of common vision in regards to the country’s future, several scenarios for the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans and others. The first public debate “The Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina” was held in Belgrade, and the final one will be organized in Zagreb on May 24.
