SarajevoSarajevo: 1 December 2010

Within the series of regional events presenting the wider public the results of the Balkan Monitor, the European Fund for the Balkans, in partnership with Gallup, visited Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on December 1st 2010.

The panel discussion, organized by ACIPS as the local partner, provided a space for an engaged debate on Balkan Monitor results for BiH and their relation to the over-arching socio-economic context of the country and the wider region.

Following the presentation of the Monitor results by Mr. Andrzej Pyrka from Gallup, the debate was started by opening presentations by Mr. Faruk Boric, Chief Editor of the Sarajevo-x portal and Mr. Davor Vuletic, Board Member of the Foreign Policy Initiative. Following the panelists’ initial remarks, an active discussion and exchange of opinions ensued, seeing the participation of a wide range of actors, from NGO representatives to members of the BiH Parliament.
