EFB Community members at SHARE Conference

EFB Community members participated in the SHARE Conference, created by the State of Exit Foundation. Internationally acclaimed internet and social experts and renowned musicians presented themselves in Belgrade, 7-9 April 2011.

The EFB Community members together with hundreds of people all over the world shared their knowledge, ideas and fun at performances, lectures, workshops and exhibitions. They exchanged ideas with Google, Harvard, MIT, Obama’s marketing team and others. The festival was composed of two parts:

1. SHARE by Day – educational platform which presented new forms of social activism and promoted internet, new media and music. Renowned DJs presented experimental audio workshops and gave lectures about their productions. Speakers were discussing issues like the role of social, economic and political factors in the postmodern society. Many lecturers, experts in digital activism, associated with Google, Twitter, Harvard and MIT presented their experiences and skills.

• SHARE by Night - parties and live performances. Apart from Dom Omladine, which was the festival’s main venue, the visitors were able to attend events and concerts all over Belgrade. Carl Craig, Does It Offend You Yeah, Beardyman, Fabio, Jimmy Edgar, Minitel Rose, Rustie & MJ Cole are among others who shared their music at SHARE Conference.

The conference was visited by 700 regional opinion makers and 15 000 local and international visitors.
