SchlossThe participants of the LDP Summer Academy arrived in the Schloss Neuhardenberg where they will spend the second part of the Summer Academy Southeast Europe and the EU – Leadership Development Programme.

This is the fourth edition of the Programme which started on the 29th of August with the welcome dinner for the participants and presentation of the three partners: Transfuse Association, the College of Europe and the European Fund for the Balkans.

In Berlin the participants had an opportunity to hear prominent speakers from the Balkans and the EU and discuss about the democracy, supranationalism, decision making process of the EU, the EU foreign policy and enlargement process, about the role of the EU in the SEE, challenges and opportunities of the regional cooperation.

Beside the interactive lectures the participants will also have a chance to attend various workshops and trainings for project management, communication and leadership skills and much more. LDP Participants

During their stay in Berlin the LDP participants explored Berlin through interesting and active city rally, and they visited Robert Bosch Foundation representation and the German Council on Foreign Relations.

After the end of the Summer Academy, the participants will continue the Programme trough their group activities organized in five countries in the region and supported by the European Fund for the Balkans.
