Gallup EuropeBrussels: 17 November 2009

The European Fund for the Balkans in partnership with Gallup Europe published the 2009 results of the Gallup Balkan Monitor – yearly survey which shows the distinct views of people from the Western Balkans on a variety of economic, social and political issues concerning each country and the region as a whole.

The official presentation of the GBM 2009 results was held at the Residence Palace in Brussels on November 17. The event was opened by Rosa Balfour, Senior Policy Analyst at the EPC, followed by Hedvig Morvai Horvat – EFB Executive Director and host Robert Manchin - Gallup Europe CEO. Guest speakers included Giuliano Amato – former Prime Minister of Italy and former Chairman of the International Commission on the Balkans, Ivan Krastev – Chairman of the Center for Lberal Strategies in Sofia and Zeljko Pantelic – Journalist and Dnevnik newspaper correspondent in Brussels.
