The European Fund for the Balkans in partnership with the Academy for Political Development organized a panel discussion “Croatia and the EU: The closer to the goal, the less optimism” in order to present the results of Gallup Balkan Monitor and stimulate the debate about the current political, economic and social situation in Croatia.

Skopje: 4 December 2009The Leadership Development Programme - Group 4 “National Identities, Minority Rights and EU Integration” organized a panel discussion and workshop “EU – Umbrella of Different Nationalities” in Skopje, 4 December 2009. This panel discussion and workshop were held at the EU Info Centre – Delegation of the European Commission in Skopje and the main aim was raising the awareness about different national identities and minority rights in the participating countries. 
The European Fund for the Balkans in partnership with Gallup Europe organized a panel discussion in order to promote the 2009 results of the Gallup Balkan Monitor - yearly survey which shows the distinct views of people from the Western Balkans on a variety of economic, social and political issues concerning each country and the region as a whole.

The Grand Hall of the Bosnia Herzegovina Parliamentary Assembly was on June 18 the venue of the public launch of the European Fund for the Balkans and a panel discussion “The Balkans in Europe’s Future”.
The European Fund for the Balkans’ Secretariat has opened its doors to a wide circle of its guests on January 21 in Belgrade. The reception organised for the Fund’s partners, the Belgrade based diplomatic core, representatives of different organisations and institutions was the first public appearance of the Fund.
